Create a card and a working app is generated for you. You write one Python function.
Cards in a workspace
Cards sit side by side in a workspace. Start one with a click and its screen opens in a floating window.
Connect cards
Connect cards so the result of one flows into the next.
Commit from the card
See each card’s changes and commit them right from the card.
Let an AI build it
Ask an AI coding agent to build a card for you.
How it works
Download
Download Umbilical for Mac and open it.
Create a card
Press New and enter a folder name. A template for a working app is created.
Write run()
Write one function in backend/main.py. Save it, and the next run uses the change.
Press ▶
The card starts and its screen opens in a floating window.

できること
関数1つで動く
カードを新しく作ると、動くアプリの骨組みができます。書くのは Python の関数1つだけです。
カードを並べる
カードはワークスペースに並びます。押せば起動し、画面が浮いた窓で開きます。
カードをつなぐ
カードどうしをつなぐと、前のカードの結果が次のカードへ流れます。
その場でコミット
カードごとの変更を見て、その場でコミットできます。
AI に作らせる
AI のコーディングエージェントにカードを作らせることもできます。
使い方
ダウンロード
Mac 版をダウンロードして開きます。
カードを作る
「新規作成」を押してフォルダ名を入れると、動くアプリのひな形ができます。
run() を書く
backend/main.py に関数を1つ書きます。保存すれば次の実行から反映されます。

サブスクリプションで Umbilical を応援できます。有料の機能は今後増えることがあります。無料の機能を後から有料にすることはありません。
